May of 1931 saw Hudson placing 10th in the Indy Classic with this Marr Special Straight 8, driven by the immortal Chet Miller




On June 26, 1914, the Rambler name was dropped, after over 30 years of recognition as a top-quality brand, including the
earlier bicycle production.



On July 15, 1912, Joseph L. Hudson, twice president of Hudson Motor Car Co., passed away.  At the time, Hudson was one of the leading U.S. Exporters of automobiles.
